An affordable German hatch, typical straight body lines and looks good from almost any angle, however interiors are quite cramped with rear seat space being one of the least in its class. Engine is tuned for fuel economy rather than performance, power is just about adequate. The Polo has a good ride as well as handles better than the competition.
