Renault Cars in India
One of the earliest car makers in the world, Renault has only just come to India. A short-lived association with Mahindra saw it produce the Logan sedan at M&M's factory in Nashik, before handing over all the tooling to Mahindra. Subsequently, the brand has entered India independently, with first the Fluence executive sedan, followed by the Koleos SUV. The new Pulse hatchback has received a good response in the Indian market, and now Renault is gearing up for its second Nissan-based offering, the Scala sedan, which will share a lot of most of it components with the Sunny. The Duster compact SUV is also due in 2012.
