Maruti Suzuki New Cars in India
Maruti Suzuki has the enviable distinction of being India's largest car maker, with over 50 per cent share of the passenger car market. It dominates the subcompact and supermini segments of the Indian car market, although it has been facing some opposition in recent times. Now, Maruti is all set to punch above its weight, with the introduction of the Ertiga MPV and a compact SUV based on the same platform. Maruti Suzuki's dealership and service network is unparalleled in India, which is a major talking point in a country as big and diverse as India.

Maruti Suzuki New Cars - User Reviews
It is extremely good. Fuel economy car with affordable price.Style fit & finish wise it is the best car
Bought the car in August, 2007 and have so far clocked 82,112 kms. I've driven it around India and have NEVER experienced any problems with the car on any of the long cross-country drives we have gone for. Except, for the smell of fuel that seeps in from the AC duct, only after filling petrol. Have taken it to various service centers but no solution yet.
I learnt driving in my Silver Grey Alto. Frankly speaking it is really good car for the learners and especially ladies. The factors which are useful, in my opinion, is that it is fuel economic and AC is very effective. In fact the AC has worked fine in the scorching summer of Delhi. And it provides the comfort and safety to a learner as well.
It was really a nice experince to grip a car which was JUST LAUNCHED. The pickup was great. Great Fuel efficiency. But the problem began in the 8th month. First the wiper was not working. Now in the 10th month the speedometer went for a toss. It's so difficult to spare the car. The company should be more cautious about the quality control.
when i bought dezire my need was for sedan with diesel option. my firend suggested i try dezire. in three years, my car has done 70,000 km with no worries. because my driving is quite fast on highway, i have had to change tyre after every 30,000 kilometer. but mileage is very good. car is running nicely but company sound system i am no liking

SIAM Opposes FTA With European Union
The Society of Indian Automotive Manufacturers (SIAM) has released a White Paper today, strongly opposing the proposed Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the European Union. The proposed India-EU FTA seeks to curb and eventually cease import duties on completely built-up (CBU) vehicles imported into India from the European Region. SIAM’s contention is that such a move will adversely impact domestic car manufacturers.
