Jaguar Cars in India
Jaguar is a car maker with history. What started as a motorcycle sidecar manufacturer evolved into what is today among's world's most iconic car brands. Jaguar is a manufacturer which can lay claims to many firsts, including the development of disc brakes, so common place today. It has a rich racing heritage, notably in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. However, consolidation under British Leyland and then under Ford's stewardship, Jaguar as a brand began to wilt. Today, Jaguar (and sister brand Land Rover) are the crown jewels in the Tata Motors portfolio. Jaguar cars are recognised as symbols of beauty and driver involvement, bought more by the well-heeled who like to get behind the wheel more often than not.
