Ford Fiesta 1.5 Ti-VCT Titanium + New Car OverviewThe Titanium + variant is the top-of-the-line version, and over and above the exhaustive list of features, also gets rear parking sensors and cruise control. While parking sensors are a useful feature, cruise control doesn't really make sense in India, given our roads and traffic conditions. Ford's new petrol engine is an India-only powerplant, and is a derivative of the 1.6 Duratec petrol motor which powered the earlier Feista, nee Fiesta Classic. This engine has Ford's new Twin-independent Variable Cam Timing (Ti-VCT) head, which helps improve efficiency and reduce emissions. It's a smooth engine, with very impressive NVH characteristics, but lacks low-end torque. However, the mileage figure of 17 km overall is an impressive claim. |
