Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 New Car OverviewThe Alto K10 plugs a gap in Maruti's model range, which earlier had only the Alto at one end and the Wagon R/Estilo/A-Star trio above that. Plonk the bigger K10 engine into the Alto, tweak the face a bit, add power windows and fog lamps - voila! you have the answer to a question nobody asked. For many though, the Alto K10 proved to be just the ticket. Trust me, from one end of a city to another, there's no quicker way to travel. |

Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 New Cars - User Reviews
Overall good car in this price. Fuel consumption is good and although pick up not so good. It is comfortable inside and riding is good on city traffic. I've completed 25000km on it and found no issue with maintanance and servicing. overall a good car.
its the best car around three lac. only constraint is the space. otherwise it can match any car way above its class. mileage is unmatched. it is the best value for money car I think. low maintenance cost is very low and maruti service centers are available wherever you go.
The cost of ownership of this car is very low. The car is so known to all mechanics that you may safely get some niggles treated by the roadside mechanics. The spares are cheap and easily available. The mileage, I get is between 15 – 16.5 KM/L. To me it looks decent. if you are in a city, this car offers great pickup within short speeds.
Alto is really a performance car within that price. handling, comfort, mileage, servicing, maintenance, reliability - all is very good in Alto. Alto is the first car in my family and we all are satisfied with this car. in my view Alto is genuine performer and you can trust it blindly.
AltoK10 VXi as a best Car simply for its features and being a small compact wonder, its the best whereever you go ...daily work, marketplace. Its best Choice...great Mileage. If you dont know about the cars sit idle dude, dont miss guide others...Alto k10 got best fuel efficiency and performance and its clocks about 125 kmph.Alto k10's low end torque helpful in smooth city driving with minimal gear changes. This helpful in increase the fuel efficiency of the car. Alto K10 is a stunning performer with its powerful K-Series engines and maruti offers great service and value.
I am very impressed by my Alto K10. The performance and handling is awesome and you can’t ask for more at this price, although I feel that the looks could have been a lot better. The best thing about this car is it’s mileage and doesn't need much parking space. It is a smart choice for a small family. .
I have had the opportunity to drive the Alto K10 with the K series engine - and believe u me what a great disappointment it was . I have always pitched for Maruti Suzuki ,as I have always believed sustaining leadership position requires a lot of effort . I also own a Maruti 800 and what a superb car it is . Two things came out sharply a) the pick up of the car is definitely up to the mark - u've to press the accelerator for a while before it really picks up speed - not the kind of feather touch I have with my Maruti 800 . b) When you change from third to second - the engine starts knocking - which is very irritating . This does not happen in my Maruti 800 . The AC's good , other features at least have no complaints about . However . this product from the stable of Maruti Suzuki was a major let down . It may have been a one -off case - however , I would request my fellow car-buyers to check on these two factors before you buy an Alto K10 .
This is a very excellent hatch back in the entry level by the maruti suzuki. I bought this car on June 29th 2011, feels a very good riding comfort, very good pickup, very good AC for entire car, very good ride for narrow roads also and in the highways its very superb to drive. By fuel efficiency ,In the City 17 Kmpl and on highways 21 kmpl by driving speed at 90-100kmph. Some drawbacks are less leg room, difficult to sit for the 6 footers, 3 person in the rear seat is also congested. I did 3 three services with maruti and after every service, I feel like a new car. Its really very good value for our money. Overall I give 9 out 10 for this car.
Bought this car on July 2011, I feel gr8 that I was opted this Car, till date I have not face any single issue, after 3rd servicing performance increase up to great level. Currently I am getting around 16-17 KMPL, which is quite good. Performance of AC is very good in heavy traffic.
Riding comfort, AC , K 10 engine are truly value for money. Tested the car in extreme conditions too. The efficiency is absolutely brilliant in every aspect.
Bought this car on Jan 2011. Since then i am amazed by its power , fuel efficiency and ultimate driving experience in heavy traffic. I have driven this car from kolkata to Mandarmani in July. I was amazed with the mileage . The mileage was 17 KMPL. Apart from that even with AC and in heavy traffic it gives me a mileage of 13 to 14 KMPL.Even the driving experience is fantastic. Not faced any technical issue till date. I have taken this car to extreme remote village in S 24 Pgns during Monsoon. But did not face any technical issue at all.
It was really a nice experince to grip a car which was JUST LAUNCHED. The pickup was great. Great Fuel efficiency. But the problem began in the 8th month. First the wiper was not working. Now in the 10th month the speedometer went for a toss. It's so difficult to spare the car. The company should be more cautious about the quality control.
