Renault Scala New Car OverviewThe Renault Scala is likely to be Renault's sedan for the Indian car-market, based on the Nissan Sunny. Of course, it will get a face-lift, including a new front grille and bumper, and a mild re-styling of the tail lamps, to bring it more in line with Renault's design language. Expect it to borrow some cues from the recently launched Renault Pulse hatchback, especially the bold treatment of the front grille. Similar to the Sunny in every technical parameter, Renault might choose to launch the Scala in a diesel version only, in keeping with its strategy for the Indian market. The 85 PS version of the popular k9 1.5-litre diesel engine will nestle underneath the bonnet. |
