Tata Motors will introduce a CNG variant of the slow-selling Tata Nano micro-car into the Indian market by the middle of 2013, sources close to the Nano project have confirmed to autojunction.in. With the Nano CNG, Tata hopes to offer the most cost-efficient transport solution available in the Indian car market to date.

Tata Motors has announced their sales figures for January 2013. The company’s total sales of commercial and passenger vehicles (including exports) in January 2013 stood at 61,660 units, whereas their domestic sales were 57,780 units. The company's sales from exports are 3,880 vehicles in January 2013.
