Nissan Motor India Private Ltd (NMIPL) reported a jump in sales that represented a 149% year-on-year increase. The company sold 2,688 units for November, 2011as compared to 1,079 units in November, 2010. The rise in sales was steered by growing sales of the recently launched sedan, Nissan Sunny, which made up 1131 of the total sales figure for the month of November. Nissan Sunny has already received 3130 bookings since it was launched in September.
