India’s leading car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India Limited exported its one millionth vehicle here today. The glistening red coloured A-star left the Mundra coast line along with 2,200 other vehicles for various international destinations including Malta, Sweden, Switzerland in Europe and Egypt, Algeria and Morocco in the non-European destinations.

Maruti crosses 10 million sales mark

Car market leader Maruti Suzuki India Limited crossed the 10 million cumulative domestic sales mark here today. It is the only automobile company in India to cross this milestone. The Company, which had rolled out its first car in December 1983, attained 5 million domestic sales in February 2006.

Maruti sales recover slightly in January

Maruti sales in January 2012 have improved slightly from the same period last year, recording growth of 5.2 %, including domestic sales and exports.
