Iconic performance car tuner and racing driver Caroll Shelby has passed away, aged 89. Shelby is recognised for his contribution to numerous sports car projects, and his win in the 1959 24 Hours of Le Mans, which he won at the wheel of an Aston Martin DBR1, partnered with Roy Salvadori.
