skoda introduces new fabia variants

 

ŠkodaAuto India on Friday introduced 4 variants of its compact car Škoda Fabia- the Fabia Active and Fabia Ambition variants in petrol and diesel engine versions along with Active Plus & Ambition Plus which are packaged versions of the Active and Ambition variants. The packaged versions give the car buyers an option to upgrade with factory fitted packages which include a myriad of convenient features.

 

"The new variants are based on market and customer feedback and are aimed at providing an enhanced value experience," the company said in a release. The petrol variants are priced at (ex-showroom, Delhi): Active (1.2 litre) Rs 4.39 lakh, Active Plus (1.2 L) 4.59 lakh, Ambition (1.2 L), Rs 48.55 lakh, and the Ambition Plus (1.2 L) Rs 4.99 lakh.

The diesel variants are priced: Active(1.2 L) Rs 5.46 lakh, Active Plus (1.2 L), Rs 5.66 lakh, Ambition(1.2 L) Rs 5.94 lakh, and the Ambition Plus (1.2 L) Rs 6.08 lakh.

Lower glove box cover

Rear interior roof handles

New three spoke steering wheel

 

Škoda Fabia Ambition:

Rear roof handles

Heat-protect tint glasses

New three spoke steering wheel

 

Škoda Fabia Active Plus

Front electrically adjustable windows

Rear electrically adjustable windows

Comfort opening and closing of windows

 

Škoda Fabia Ambition Plus

Remote control with two foldable keys

Remote control locking and unlocking of doors and boot lid

Rear electrically adjustable windows

Comfort opening and closing of windows

Remote control opening and closing of windows

Auto Sales Stagnant Over Last 12 Months

It hasn't been the best of years for the Indian auto industry. Data compiled by the Society of Indian Autmobile Manufacturers (SIAM) shows that over the past 12 months, production has grown by just 1.2 %, from April 2012 till March 2013. The industry produced 1,685,355 vehicles in March 2013 as against 1,845,868 in March 2012, which declined by (-) 8.70 percent.
