Mercedes-Benz India today launched the GL-Class ‘Grand Edition’. Features reserved exclusively for the ‘Grand Edition’ include 20-inch light-alloy wheels in what Mercedes calls 'Himalayan grey metallic' with a high-sheen finish and two-tone leather seats in the color combinations black / porcelain and black / maroon with contrast stitching, which is exclusive to the Grand Edition.

Hyundai evaluating stand-alone dealerships for upcoming new Sonata and Elantra

Hyundai Motor India Pvt Ltd is evaluating the possibility of selling its new sedan range, which will include the new Sonata, due in April and later the Elantra, from stand-alone dealerships. These dealerships would be separate from the "regular" Hyundai sales points, which retail the rest of the Korean car-makers product range.

Peugeot withdraws from Endurance Racing

French car maker Peugeot has decided to withdraw from endurance racing for the time being. Peugeot had been racing in the Le Mans Series, including the blue ribbon 24 Hours of Le Mans for the past few seasons, with its diesel powered 908 HDi FAP prototype sportscar.
