Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) signed an MoU with PSU Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) for vehicle financing on December 24, 2011. Arun Malhotra, M&M Senior Vice-President, Sales and Customer Care, exchanged the necessary documents with K. Subrahmanyam, IOB General Manager at a function held in Chennai on December 24.

The starter motor of the old Tata Nano cars will be replaced and installed with the one that’s fitted in the new 2012 edition as told by a company spokesperson. The replacement is not being done due to any safety reasons and will be done totally to all customers free of cost.

Mahindra and Mahindra has confirmed it will bring both the Korando and Rexton SUVs to India next year. The Korando and Rexton are both Ssangyong products, which M&M acquired a couple of years ago. While the Korando is an all-new SUV, the Rexton is based on a two-generation old Mercedes M-Class platform.

Ace biker Vinu S V of Hyderabad, quit his job for riding. He completed the Saddle Soar in April this year and was diagnosed with a cervical spine dislocation after it. After a 5 month hiatus, he went on to do the BunBurner on October 20 of this year.As the Iron Butt Association has it, the SaddleSore 1000 is 1,000 miles covered in 24 hours and the BunBurner 1500 is 1,500 miles completed in 36 hours.
