Tata Motors Full Throttle, the mega motorsports initiative undertaken by the premier Indian sport car maker has laid another platform for enthusiasts to test the stamina of their motorised pride in rough terrains under the banner TATA MOTORS BLAZE DE RAJASTHAN. It comprises ofa competitive one-day off-roading rally. The capital city, Jaipur is both thestarting and culminating destination for the mega rally. It will trek through a challenging 300 km route from 9th June to 10th June.
Tata Motors Blaze de Rajasthan rally comprises of three categories – 2WD, 4WD and an exclusive Women’s team. The unique point about this challenge is that participation is open to all makes. There is no stringent laws and regulation regarding the motor driving experience or profession type of the participants. This challenging rally will test the triple factors of time, speed and distance; but not a cakewalk to tell frankly.
Speaking on the grand rally that is expected to blaze through a wide tract of Rajasthan, Jatin Lakra, Head–Marketing-Sumo and Grande, Tata Motors said, "After a series of successes in rallies, Tata Motors Full Throttle brings the joy of competitive rallying to all motorsports enthusiast across the country. Rajasthan is a popular destination for off-roading and a natural choice for us to hold our first one-day off-roading rally. The state has some of the most extensive networks of roads that connect even small towns and villages and are fairly isolated with little traffic load, ideal for such sporting events.”
The rough track ofTATA MOTORS BLAZE DE RAJASTHAN is challenge galore, such as in-city drives, hilly tarmac pockets, sandy trails, an extreme trail and tracks tailor made to test the drivers’ skill behind the wheels. Thar Motorsports has been roped in as the program partner for planning and executing the main event while Tata Motors will pitch in with the entire logistical, medical and service support for the rally.
Tata Motors Full Throttle initiative has recently flagged off two other off-roading challenges but exclusively for Tata Motors SUV owners, tagged Tata Motors Full Throttle Experience andTata Motors Full Throttle Trails. The first one is an off-roading expedition to be flagged off from New Delhi on June 22 and will span over several days. Tata Motors Full Throttle Trails are basically half-day off-roading rallies, totalling about 21 trails.
