mini clubvan concept

After spanning coupe, cabriolet and SUV versions, BMW-owned MINI has developed the Clubvan concept, a stylish take on the estate car / delivery van bodystyle.

The MINI Clubvan Concept will be shown at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in March this year. Based on the MINI Clubman, the Clubvan is limited to two seats only, for the driver and front passenger. There are a total of five doors, including the clam-shaped rear doors which allow access in a cramped space.

MINI says the Clubvan Concept evokes memories of the erstwhile Morris Mini Traveller, and is a first of its kind modern interpreation of the car-based van concept. The MINI Clubvan is intended to appeal to style-conscious buyers who require the utility of a van, but in a compact and stylish package. MINI says the Clubvan will appeal to buyers like caterers, fashion designers and art gallery owners. It could also probably appeal to celebrity veterinarians! With this latest iteration, the company has truly milked the MINI concept.
