fiat caffe

Fiat India Automobiles inaugurated its second exclusive Fiat Caffé in Pune’s up market locality, Koregaon Park. This was shortly after the launch of Fiat’s first Caffé in Delhi and its first exclusive dealership in Hyderabad.

Speaking at the launch, Tarun Khanna, Head-Marketing at Fiat India said, “We are trying to give the true Fiat experience to our customers, potential customers and consumers in general. We want more and more people to be touched by the Fiat brand in different ways. Fiat Caffe is a unique concept where we bring the brand alive in various manners– be it in terms of a product demo, or browsing through information about the brand – on digital devices or books, or just quietly absorbing the brand experience while lounging and having an Italian coffee.”

The 6,300 sq ft Caffé is designed to give the Fiat experience to customers and enhance Fiat’s brand image. The operations of the Caffé will be managed by Millennium Drive- an automobile dealer in Pune. The Fiat Caffé has a mezzanine floor with a lounge at the Café bar. The customers will be able to see the latest Fiat India cars on display, take a test drive if they desire, and browse through Fiat worldwide or Fiat India details, guided by specially trained personnel. The collection of international Fiat merchandise will be available for sale. The customers will also have access to an in-house library boasting of a collection of books on Fiat’s history, the various sub brands, its sister companies and several auto and lifestyle magazines. The Fiat Caffé will hold event round the year and is expected to go beyond being just a car showroom.

On the occasion of the inauguration of the Fiat Caffé, Neelesh Naik, Proprietor, Millennium Drive said, “We are extremely proud to be associated with Fiat India and are committed to providing our customers in Pune a premium experience. There are only 12 such Fiat Image points across the world and it is a matter of great prestige to be selected to operate the Fiat Caffé for India.”

SIAM Opposes FTA With European Union

The Society of Indian Automotive Manufacturers (SIAM) has released a White Paper today, strongly opposing the proposed Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the European Union. The proposed India-EU FTA seeks to curb and eventually cease import duties on completely built-up (CBU) vehicles imported into India from the European Region. SIAM’s contention is that such a move will adversely impact domestic car manufacturers.
