Dhoni at the Launch of Limited Edition TVS StaR City
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, India’s Cricket World Cup winning captain and the brand ambassador of TVS StaR City, uncovered a special limited edition TVS StaR City motorcycle in Chennai. This 110 cc all black bike will be initially confined within Tamil Nadu market.
In a small-scale meeting organised by the TVS Motor Company, the current high profile Indian cricket captain had a tête-à-tête the two-wheeler company’s Tamil Nadu based dealers besides few privileged owners of TVS motorcycles. Commenting on his long association with TVS StaR City and the significance of such promotional programs, Dhoni at the gathering said: “This has been a great experience for me, mingling with people who literally live motorcycles. Every interaction is a new learning experience no matter how much one thinks one knows. It feels great to be among the consumers of TVS StaR City that I’ve endorsed for seven years now. I personally love motorcycles, so launching a special edition TVS StaR City, is that much more exciting.”
Underlining the USP of TVS StaR City and the prospects of its new special edition, H S Goindi, President–Marketing, TVS Motor Company said: “In addition to having an all-black themed styling, this value for money, executive class commuter is elegant yet tough and powerful returns a stunning fuel economy. There is no change in price which starts from Rs. 40,775/- (ex-showroom Tamil Nadu) and we expect this special edition TVS StaR City motorcycle, to further strengthen the volumes of TVS StaR City by around 15 percent in the state.”
