Dear Geetak, Given your daily running, it does not make sense for you to invest in a diesel car. Stick to a petrol vehicle. At your budget, you can choose between the Ford Figo, Chevrolet Beat, Hyundai i10 and the base variants of the Maruti Swift and Hyundai i20. Of course, there is the chance that you could get confused given so much choice. In that sense, we would advise you to narrow down your choices based on your requirements. If style is your thing, then go for the Beat. If you want a no-nonsense car which is fully loaded, spacious and good value for money, then the Ford Figo is the best bet. The Hyundai i10 makes a very strong case for itself as a very easy-to-drive car in city traffic, while the Honda Brio, though expensive, gives very good fuel economy. We'd say you look at the i10 and Figo.
