After the success of Nissan Micra petrol, the Japanese auto manufacturer followed it with the launch of the diesel version of the Micra hatchback, utilizing the popular 1.5-litre dCi diesel from the Renault Pulse.
DAT Motorcar Co was set up in 1914, and in its initial years, it mostly manufactured trucks for the Japanese military. The DAT car was named by combining the initials of three men who invested in Kwaishinsha: Den, Aoyama and Takeuchi.
The new Renault Koleos is st to be launched in India this October, in time for the festive season comprising Dusshera and Diwali. This will be the French firm's first SUV and its second-ever model in India.
